This is absolutely horrifying.
Reminder that neonicotinoid pesticides, particularly imidacloprid, are found in a variety of home and garden “pest control” products, such as those under the “Bioadvanced” label
This articles goes into great detail to describe the shady, underhanded tactics used by chemical companies to convince people these pesticides are safe. They are not. They are causing mass death of pollinators and all sorts of wildlife.
I do research on trying to improve risk assessments for these, and can tell you oodles about how awful it is. The EPA is trying its best but the grip that these companies have on the industry is infuriating.
